Characters and Plot
This is now my newest obsession. First of all, XIE LIAN is that DIVA. Love him so much, truly won the IDGAF attitude because that man just wants to chill, collect scraps, and live in a cosy hut. He lived and went through hell for 800 years, and now he just wants to retire, but Heaven just HAS to bring him back. Also him just shrugs off every insult thrown his way and goes "anyway... do y'all know", absolute icon.
I love the storyline and the world-building. The different types of ghosts and monsters, how everything is separated into three realms, and they all get explored properly, everything was just so well thought out. The first arc is catching a ghost that kidnaps people, and I just love that kind of plot. What's even more endearing is that Xie Lian, our MC, is actually really intelligent and was just breezing through everything.
The second arc, though... I sign up for romance and vibe... I DID NOT EXPECT THE LORE TO GO THIS HARD. Is the romance having me giggle and kicking my feet, yes, San Lang is an icon. But the plot... JAW DROPPING AND NOW MY HEAD HURTS FROM THE PLOT TWIST IN THE END... Also, Xie Lian accidentally got drafted into a war from a random kingdom because HE GOT LOST??? Sir, what were you doing? What is your life?
Anyway, loving this, can't wait to continue it, and ye... READ HEAVEN OFFICIAL'S BLESSING EVERYONE!!!
