Review
Easily the best book so far in Mistborn Era 2; it was action-packed and thrilling. I love that in this book, we get more connection to the Cosmere, more lore drops, especially the Investitures and Soul thing; that was really interesting to learn about. I also enjoy how there's actually another country on the planet.
I adore Wax and Steris' romantic relationship; they are actually so cuteee, and I would never have guessed they would be that endearing when I read book 1. Marasi had to have the greatest character development in the series, and her dynamic with Wayne is one of my favorites.
I did guess the twist in this one, but that did not take away from the story at all. There was one point where a lot was happening, and the fact that all of this happened in a few days is... something. Marasi in the last few chapters, girl ate that up. And I am really excited to see how this series ends
