A year had passed after Vin accidentally released Ruin from its prison. Now free, Ruin is seeking to destroy the world, possessing people, whispering orders in its host. The ash fall had become worse, aiming to kill all the crops, blocking all the roads, and harming humankind.

After the Well of Ascension, Elend Venture Snapped and became an Allomancer, a powerful Mistborn. Vin and Elend, now as Emperor and Empress to the New Empire, shoulder the burden of saving their people, protecting them, and defeating Ruin. But how can they defeat something they can't see? The clock is ticking, and if Elend and Vin can't defeat Ruin, then the world will fall to destruction.
Review:
Characters and Plot
One of the best finales to a fantasy series, it's epic, gripping, and an emotional pact. First of all, I want to say that Tensoon is the GOAT!!! I had already loved him in the Well of Ascension, and I love him even more in this book. Let's just say that Tensoon carried, Luthadel's population would probably have been wiped out if he hadn't warned them.

We got Spook pov in this book, and I LOVE IT. Spook was always a quiet, errand boy; the crew cared for him, but he was never an important member. Well, in this book, he steps up, becoming a reliable leader, and is an elite Tineye. Spook is probably the most powerful Tineye; that guy can hear your breath without even looking. Spook was rejected by Vin in the first book, but in this book, he got the girl :))

Vin, I love her so much, and her relationship with Elend it's a chef kiss. The level of trust between them was something else, and it's great seeing them treat each other as equal, both Elend and Vin are capable people, and I love how they always support each other, while also pushing each other harder. Vin's fight with the 12 inquisitors near the end was badass, girl gain supernatural power and demolishes those Inquisitors. Also that plot with her earring, truly shocking, and I can't believe I miss it, it was so obvious, Brandon Sanderson really is the master of dropping small clues that are so easy to overlook, and when you connect the dot, you are left there staring at the wall from shock.

The ending... WHY JUST WHY!!!! Vin dropping the line "You see, he was the only reason I had left to live." Literally the most heartbreaking and powerful line in the trilogy, it almost got me tear up, and yep, Vin and Elend are soulmates, go and argue with a wall. Also her fight with Ruin, pure epic.

The plot twist about Sazed in the end... LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL, I... IT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE... AND SO FREAKING UNEXPECTED... Like HELPPP. Brandon Sanderson is out here dropping plot twists on a daily basis

Conclusion
This trilogy was a masterpiece, I love the characters' growth, the plot is amazing, the magic system and world building were explain so well, and the plot twists, ABSOLUTE GOLD. Mistborn is an amazing high fantasy series, if you are looking to get into high fantasy, I high recommend the Mistborn trilogy, you ought to fall in love with the story and the characters.
