Review:
Characters and Plot
The hype behind this book wasn't a lie, because this is a freaking masterpiece here. I found myself relating to Vin so much, girlie is an introvert and it shows. Appearing timid and quiet at first, but once you get to know her, her bluntness and roast would make you raise eyebrows, and that is the realest thing about being an introvert, is that you an inner menace. I love Vin's growth, she started as a street thief, distrusting everyone, thinking that everyone is ought to trick and harm her, based on her abusive childhood, I don't blame her. But then as the book progress, Vin learn to trust, she finally a group that fits her, a place that she is respected, where she finally make friends. Vin has to be one of the smartest, if not the smartest FMC I ever read about, she had brilliant fighting tactics, had amazing instinct, and is incredibly observant, being able to predict the events from her sharp eyes.

Vin and Elend's relationship, chef kiss. Elend sneaking of at social gathering to read a book is the most relatable thing I seen so far, that's me... I love their romance, it's sweet, witty and nuance. Vin and Elend fall for each other qualities and personalities, it was a emotional connection, they didn't lust like some fantasy couples out there, but actually take some time to know about each other charm.

The found family in here was amazing, I grew to love the crew, how comfortable they are with each other, the light bicker and arguments, along with the witty humors that radiate from Kelsier. It was giving the crows in Six of Crows in the best way, how each of they are brilliant in their own way, each contributes to the crew, how their skill complement each other. Kelsier was a fascinating character, he is the definition of hiding the pain behind a smile, he smile so much, tries so hard to appear invincible, but once we get to his POV, readers could see how much he doubts himself, how he blames himself for every failure, I love that the crew sometimes call Kelsier out for his flaws, showing a very relatable character.

The magic system in here was BRILLIANT. It was intricate and complex without being to confusing, the use of metal power??? I'd never seen anything like that before; it was fascinating. The different creatures and types of power in that world were also well thought out and built up. The plot was paced well, gripping, with no plot holes; each chapter effectively built up to the climax. The plot twist at the end... MY JAW WAS ON THE FLOOR, LIKE HELLO??? HOW DID I MISS THAT? Brandon Sanderson had foreshadowed so many things, leaving small details that were easily missed, but once the twist was revealed, you go back and remember all the details that the author had left behind.

Conclusion
This is the ultimate epic fantasy, everything was done flawlessly, somehow I didn't gave this 5 stars, and that's on me, not the book. It's just I didn't feel a deep personal connection to any of the character, I love them all but I didn't feel that next level emotional connection to give it a 5 stars. However, this is a masterpiece and I am so excited to read the next book.
