The Hand threatens to bring forth a time of monsters, and Robin Icethorn, King of the Winter Court, must stop him. The hunt has begun for the keys that will release the demon God Duwar from his otherworldly restraints. Finding surprising allies, Robin finds himself reduced to a pawn on a game board he never wanted to be a part of and thrown into a war of the gods. As ancient flames reappear, equally altered, and new flames flare with electrifying power, Robin is forced to make choices that will forever alter the path of his and his Kingdoms' lives.
General Opinion:.
Robin needs to stop being so dramatic because Jesus Christ...

Characters and Plot
Again, like the last book, it was fun to read, and I enjoyed the addition of the Asp and the Nephilim. My girl Seraphine, I love her so much, the fact that she was an undercover assassin all this time, chef kiss. I don't know, I just like the assassin storyline, it's always the most interesting one. The plot again was page-turning, every page has an action that draws you in, and you just cannot wait to find out what happens.

As much as I like the plot, I had some complaints about our dear MC Robin. First of all, what is it with Robin treating Erix horribly? The fact that Robin was mad at Erix for showing up, saving Duncan, and calling him a monster because he looks like a Gyvern was just disgusting and mean. The fact that Erix was begging for forgiveness when it should have been Robin, sure, what Erix did was horrible, but he was possessed, and last I checked, I don't remember Robin giving efforts into getting Erix back.

Erix is the MAN. The way he was so loyal, protective, and loving of Robin melted my heart. I need an Erix in my life, like I just prefer Erix and Robin together, I found them to have more development in their relationship compared to Robin and Duncan, they are still cute though.

There are some spicy scenes in this book, but if you are not comfortable with it, you can skip them.

The ending to this book was insane, and also the way that Robin tricked the hand was kind of unhinged now that I think about it... I am not even surprised anymore. This whole series was just chaotic and insane in the best way.

Conclusion
I am so excited for the final book in this series. I am having such a great time reading this series; the pure chaos in it was amazing.
