Finding the truth about her mother's murder was Cassie Hobbes' only objective when she enrolled in the FBI's Naturals program. However, everything Cassie believed to be true about what transpired that evening has now been questioned. The individuals capturing her are more formidable and dangerous than any the Naturals have encountered thus far, and her mother is still alive. Cassie and the squad are working against the clock as they try to learn the secrets of a group that has been killing covertly for decades.

It quickly becomes clear that the Naturals aren't merely chasing serial killers this time around as the victims start to pile up and the deaths get closer to home.

General Opinion

Amazing finale, and with an extra novella, what an epic way to finish the Naturals series!!!

Characters and Plot

Once again, Jennifer Lynn Barnes manages to pull the unexpected, knowing how to manipulate the readers and pull one of the most shocking twists in front of them. Though I had to say, the twist in this book wasn't as crazy as the others, probably because I am so used to it now. In this book, we get too get a deep dive in Cassie's childhood, all the crazy events that happened in the area that Cassie and her mom used to live for 6 months.

Cassie really need a break, like after the ending, my girl deserve the biggest vacation for all the traumas she went through, actually, the whole Naturals deserve a vacation. The group dynamic is adorable as usual, especially with Lia pretending she don't care about Cassie, but in truth, she does.

We get a new Natural in this book, Celine, who can draw a face based on their bone structure, creepy and fascinating. I love the relationship between her and Sloanne, praying for them to become a couple, because they are adorable.

There is also a novella at the end, where we get a glimpse in the Naturals at age 12, and also an active case going on. Somehow, I found the case in the novella to be more chilling than Bad Blood, with the YOY character being an actual psycho in the novella, and the suspense of the target dying at any time.

Conclusion

I love this series, definitely a must-read for all the thriller lovers out there. I hope Jennifer Lynn Barnes will write more series similar to the Naturals; the plot, the characters, and the twists, all of them are amazing and were executed extremely well.
