Cassie Hobbes and the Naturals are called in to look into a series of vicious killings that have occurred in Las Vegas. Despite the team's exceptional profiling skills, these killings appear puzzling because, in contrast to many serial killers, this one consistently employs diverse techniques. The murderer does not appear on any tape, despite the fact that all of the victims were murdered in public. Additionally, each victim's wrist is tattooed with a series of numbers. There is a code hidden in the numbers, and the case gets riskier the closer the Naturals go to solving the riddle.
Cassie, however, is coping with a secret that is far more agonizing and equally hazardous. For the first time in years, there's been a break in her mother's case. As personal issues and tensions between the team mount, Cassie and the Naturals will be faced with impossible odds—and impossible choices.
General Opinion
I am now obsessed with the Naturals series; every book is a hit, and I'm pretty sure the last book will also be a hit.

Characters and Plot
We're getting Sloanne's backstory with this one. I love her in this book; she was so incredible, so smart, and contributed the most to the case. Sloanne managed to figure out the pattern that the killer was working in, cracking the code, and was able to alert the FBI. My poor girl did not deserve what happened to her in the end, but I love how everyone has a soft spot for Sloanne. You could never get mad at her; she's so smart and sweet.
Cassie's mom's case is reopening, though I didn't find it as interesting as the current case, except for the ending, where the reveal had my jaw on the floor. I love that Lia tried to get Cassie back up, saying that she shouldn't let her mind wander when there's a case happening right now. I know that Cassie is overwhelmed by her mother, but I agree with Lia, Cassie needs to pull herself together. I also enjoy more of Lia and Cassie.

Dean wasn't there much in this book, properly because the last book was already focused on him. Because there isn't a lot of Dean, there's not much of Cassie and Dean moments, but from what I see, they are THE couple's goal. Indeed, they might not have that flirty chemistry that we usually enjoy from the main couple, but they are so supportive of each other, always there for each other, helping each other cope with their trauma, it's just a healthy relationship that everyone should have.

Michael and Lia were interesting in this book... But Michael was really funny in this book, even though his humor was used to hide his pain, my boy need a hug. Even I didn't like how he behave at the end of the last book, he's still growing and I think he was better in this book.
Conclusion
Overall, I am beyond excited to read the finale of this series.
